I am so grateful and honoured to have met Nabhiji. I had the privilege of helping Nabhiji with his rehabilitation after both his knee replacement in 2025. I grew up being taught to have deep respect for a temple priest. When I met him for the first time, I was very nervous about what to say and how to act. Nabhiji broke all my anxiety in a moment. He was not distant and stern .He was wonderfully childlike and so simple in his wisdom. He was always full of encouragement and he had a smile that was so positive. Nabhiji was motivated in his rehab and he had no limits for achieving his goals. Every time he visited the clinic, he brought us some home-made snacks or prasadh. We welcomed his beautiful energy in the clinic. I am so grateful to have met such an incredible soul who has inspired me. I will miss you dearly Nabhiji . Om Shanti Shanti

Hare Krishna Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila prabhupada. You showed us the path to Krishna Consciousness and you were our mentor and I would say our Siksha Guru too. You got me and my wife initiated (Diksha) in 2019 by HH Sivaram Swami Maharaj at Radha Ashthmi in Hungary. That was a very big step for me and because you were so close to Guru maharaja and with your very kind words that you said to him about me, he accepted me there them. We grew so close to you as a family and as a big brother over the years and you taught us so much about Krishna consciousness, but in this material life things outside our control take over and cause misconceptions and we tend to loose our minds to these things. I really miss you prabhu as we use to share everything with each other and be so close and talking on the phone nearly on daily basis until 2022 when Maya took over. I still followed you on the YouTube online classes that you use to do and met you now then and you would say how many schools you were attending per day and always excited about giving Krishna consciousness to people and always having a big smile. We dearly miss you Nabhi Prabhu. I really hope you are in a safe place and I am sure you are with Krishna at his lotus feet still doing some sort of service. Thank you again for everything Nabhi prabhu. Hare Krishna Yours always Amita Kṛṣṇa Dāsa & Sangini Dd 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏

Hare Krishna 🙏 I feel very fortunate to have crossed paths with Nabhi Nandan Prabhu. What I will remember most about him was his humility, his warmth and the genuine value he placed on everyone around him. He had a quiet way of making people feel seen and cared for. I remember our little conversations. He once asked me why I didn't come to the temple more often and I explained how my schedule made the timings difficult. I also told him about my plans to leave for India and dedicate myself to Krishna's cows. He listened with such warmth and understanding. One small moment in London has stayed with me. I was standing very far back in the prasādam queue, amongst a large crowd, when he noticed me, came over and took me to the front. Such a simple gesture, but somehow it said so much about the kind of person he was - thoughtful, humble and always looking out for others. Despite me doing hardly anything as a volunteer during the Jagannath Rath Yatra and having to leave while the work was still going on because I was unwell, he still sent me such a lovely message: “JSK Suniti. Thanks for your wonderful help yesterday. Hope you are feeling well.” I replied that I wished I had done more. His response “You did a great deal” reflects so much of Prabhu's kindness and generosity. I had been quietly hoping to find the right opportunity to seek his blessings before I departed for India. I hope his blessings are with me as I begin this new journey. Sometimes Krishna brings people into our lives for reasons we only understand later. I feel blessed that our paths crossed, even if only for a short while. May Nabhi Nandan Prabhu's devotion and humility continue to inspire everyone whose life he touched. Hare Krishna, Prabhu 🙏 All glories to your service.

I have known Nabhi Prabhu, who I have always called "Nipan Kaka", my whole life. He was a student of my dad Nitin Mehta's Gujarati school - a place where formative friendships and ideas began to be planted in his young mind, and where his status as an honourary younger brother of my father was cemented. My earliest memory of him is when I myself began attending my father's Guajrati classes, around the age of 6 - by which time Nipan Kaka was an assistant teacher. I can picture him very clearly in front of a chalk board teaching us our K, kh, ghs. With his youthfulness, he definitely seemed like a cooler teacher than my father! In the coming decades, Nipan Kaka remained a regular presence at my dad's vegetarian rallies and vegetarian Christmas lunches. In the 90s and early 00s, we also saw him regularly at the temple in South Norwood, which he established and cared for with such commitment and love. From this time, I absolutely associate the Narasimha Aarti with him, and it makes me emotional to hear it at the various prayer sessions at the Mandir since this tragic incident. My mum, dad and sister have always been much more involved with Hinduism and the Mandir, and therefore have a strong spiritual connection with Nipan Kaka - as do hundreds of people. For some bizarre reason, Nipan Kaka decided I was the comic genius of my family and the bond between us was based almost entirely on banter! I actually also have a philosophical and spiritual side, and I can only wonder how profound and memorable those discussions may have been. But the universe decided that when we met each other, our role was to make each other laugh. It really points to the many facets of Nipan Kaka's personality - I guess his mischievous side needed outlets too! His quick wit definitely pointed to a very intelligent mind, and the rather quirky British "everyman" personality that exuded incongruously out of the Indian robes he wore I think helped make him relatable to everyone. It helped him draw an incredibly diverse range of people into his world, who he then invited into his spiritual world. Sharing and nurturing spirituality is surely one of the most generous things anyone can do, and there's no doubt he has built a wealth of good karma in doing so. The last time I saw Nipan Kaka was at a party that I held in May 2026. That day, as was a usual day for him, he was committed to attending several satsangs. But Nipan Kaka and Jayanti Auntie made a point of squeezing in a visit to my party. I held the party as a way to carve out special time with the honourary uncles and aunties who have been a constant and comforting presence throughout my life, and who have made me me. We rarely articulate such things in words (maybe we all should do so more often), but I hope the party made my appreciation and affection for them clear. Nipan Kaka's life is an inspirational example of the impact one individual can have. I have no doubt that within the long cycle of birth and death, this life was a momentous one for his soul. I truly believe the way he lived it means momentous things for that soul's current journey and ultimate destination.

Nabhi Nandan Prabhu ji was an inspiring devotee and a truly down-to-earth, helping soul has left us to serve Lord Krishna in His eternal abode. I had the absolute privilege of sharing a two-week journey with him on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra this July, where his constant smile and pure heart shone brightly. He has now attained the supreme destination at the feet of Sri Krishna. May the Lord grant him shelter and mercy."

Hare Krishna everyone, I have known Nabhi Prabhu for over 15 years, although in truth, I feel as though he has been part of our lives for much longer. When my mum and I first visited the Hare Krishna Mandir on Enmore Road, the very first person we met was Nabhi Prabhu. From that moment onwards, he became a very special and important part of our lives. Through his kindness, guidance and devotion, he helped bring both my mum and me closer to Krishna. We began attending satsangs almost every Sunday at the Mandir, as well as satsangs in devotees' homes, including Prabhu's own home. I still remember when my mum and I completed our very first Ekadashi fast. Nabhi Prabhu was so happy and proud of us. His words were always full of encouragement: "Very good, Geeta and Mataji," and "Well done, very good." Those simple words meant so much and gave us both great strength. One of my most cherished memories was during lockdown, when Mum and I would join Nabhi Prabhu's afternoon Zoom sessions. I would never miss them for the world. Those sessions brought so much peace, inspiration and joy during a very difficult time. Prabhu always gave me his time, patience and encouragement. I would often join slightly early because I felt so dedicated and inspired by his teachings and his positive energy. Prabhu taught me bhajans in Bengali and Sanskrit from the very beginning, patiently guiding me until I could sing them with confidence. Our home language is Punjabi, and I did not know a word of Bengali, but through Nabhi Prabhu's guidance, patience and faith in me, he made sure I could sing without fear. He would often say, "Geeta, would you like to sing a bhajan?" and I would become so excited and immediately say yes. To me, Nabhi Prabhu was more than a guide; he was like a spiritual teacher who never stopped encouraging me and helping me grow in my devotion. His words still echo in my heart: "Hare Krishna, Geeta. Very good." Nabhi Prabhu had so much love, patience, encouragement and wisdom to share with everyone. His presence touched many lives, and I will always be grateful for the way he touched mine. I miss you dearly, Nabhi Prabhu, and I pray that wherever you are, Krishna's blessings and love are always with you. Hare Krishna, P.S. I truly hope I will one day have the opportunity to sing my bhajans again at the Mandir, carrying forward the confidence and love for devotion that Nabhi Prabhu helped nurture in me.

When I relocated to UK, I was desperately looking out for Hindu gathering, temple visit, Sanatan association. Out of no where I got a chance one day to visit Krishna Avanti school in Croydon, where for the first time I meet Nabhi Prabhuji. It was Damodhar mass that time. He gave me a chance to do the Aarti and it was my first personal connection with Lord Krishna. Later he insisted on starting with chanting of Tulsi mala. Today I am still chanting and the whole credit goes to Nabhi Prabhuji. I am indebted to you for this knowledge and practice that you have passed unto me. I have never seen a person who is 24/7 thinking of what next can be done for spiritual uplifment of the society members. He was so passionate, innovator, risk taker for spiritual progress of the community. I remember during covid time also he was in India continuing the yatra. I pray whereever you are Prabhuji, you are still smiling and in peace and joy. Hari Om
