Frequently asked questions
Is Memoreva really free?
Yes, entirely free: creating a memorial, hosting it, and every feature are all free, with no subscription and no hidden fees.
Does the memorial stay online forever?
Yes, a Memoreva memorial is permanent: it has no expiration date, and its address never changes.
Are there any ads on the site?
No, no advertising is shown at all, neither to the families managing a memorial nor to visitors browsing it.
Can I make a memorial genuinely private?
Yes: beyond hiding it from search engines, you can protect a memorial with an access code you choose and share yourself - without that code, no one can view the page, even with the direct link.
Is the memorial's QR code free and permanent?
Yes: every memorial gets a free QR code, generated at high enough resolution to be printed or engraved on a physical plaque, and it always points to the same address.
Do I need an app to scan the QR code?
No: each memorial's QR code simply points to its public address, like any other link. It scans directly with any smartphone's native camera, with no app to download or install.
What is the management participation QR?
Alongside the memorial's public QR code, a second one - distinct, and never encoding any hidden management link - lets a relative request to join the memorial's management. Whoever currently manages it is notified and decides for themselves whether to send access.
What is a family page?
A family page brings several memorials from the same family together under one address and one QR code, which you can edit (title, description, photo) and grow at any time. It's created for free, separately from any individual memorial.
Can several family members manage the same memorial?
Yes, the creator can share a private management link with other relatives, so several people can contribute to and manage the page together.
Can I get all my data back?
Yes, at any time: a complete export (biography, timeline, messages, and the actual photo/video/audio files, not just their names) can be downloaded with one click from the memorial's settings.
What happens if MEMOREVA ever stops operating?
MEMOREVA is entirely free, with no subscription — so there's no risk tied to a payment stopping. For your peace of mind beyond that: a memorial's full export (biography, timeline, messages, and the real photo/video/audio files) can be downloaded at any time, and re-imported to fully recreate the memorial if ever needed — its content never depends solely on the site staying online.
What languages is Memoreva available in?
Memoreva is available in 14 languages: French, English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Hebrew, Armenian, Arabic, Hindi, Bengali, and Urdu - built for families anywhere in the world, not just one country. A memorial's content can also be read in another language: an automatic translation is offered on request.
What does Memoreva do with my personal data?
Memoreva follows a detailed privacy policy, available to read at any time, explaining what data is kept and how to request or delete it.
